…you know yourself better than anyone else, so you should feel comfortable about what you bring - in other words, if you love dressing up every night for dinner, by all means do so when you are visiting us!! And on the other hand, if the thought of wearing a tie during vacation sends you running away, do not bring one - the very worst that can happen is that a snooty maitre'd at a fancy restaurant will smirk, and we'll take care of it, don't worry!!

And anyway, we will not ever be so far away from a town that if you really, really, need something that you forgot to pack, you won't be able to buy a substitute.
