What is "Momo's Way," and why am I doing this?

Born and raised in Uruguay, I have had the great opportunity to live abroad for many years. From our second home in San Luis Obispo, my husband and I regularly travel across the USA and we have many good friends and business acquaintances around the country. I love traveling, discovering, exploring, and I really enjoy pausing long enough to know the people in those places we visit - I don't believe in just rushing through sights to check them off a list.

As I meet new friends and renew old friendships, I hear over and over again how many people want to travel abroad but are discouraged by the stale options - either they have to join a large group, be herded around and told what to see and how to feel about what they are seeing, or at the other extreme, the trips are too adventurous, and do not appeal to a wider audience - rock-climbing, jungle exploring, or glacier-trekking expeditions are not everyone's cup of tea.

And speaking of cups of tea - that's one of my weaknesses, also. Good tea, good food, good wine are some of the good things in life that I like to share with my guests.

My promise to you is this - I will show you my favorite places, my way. You will see, feel and experience places and people that will make you smile, exclaim, think. You will have fun. Rest. And feel renewed. There will be enough excitement to keep you eager, but not agitated. And enough time off to keep you relaxed, and never, ever bored. You'll be pampered, and you'll be challenged.
